HOW IS THE FOOD MADE AND WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
We use fresh produce and ingredients weekly. All meals are plant-based, containing no meat or animal by-products.
How does the menu work?
We provide a rotating set menu that is emailed out and posted on Instagram every Monday and Wednesday. From there you log into your account to select which meals you'd like or you can let us choose so you don't even have to think about your food, it just shows up at your office or home!

If you are on subscription and don't specify your preference, you will automatically receive one of each dish. How does delivery work? When will my delivery show up?
We deliver once a week to your home or office on Sunday or Monday. We charge for home deliveries and office deliveries (outside of Zone 1). Please select your delivery zone when checking out.
The order cutoff time for Sunday and Monday deliveries is every Tuesday at 9:00pm (you will receive your food on your selected day at your specified address)

Can I pick-up my meals instead?
Yes, we have pick-up available on Sundays from 2pm-5pm at the kitchen. We've moved locations so please note new address below:

What about my food allergies?
Our kitchen relies heavily on the use of wheat, nuts, and soy along with other staples like garlic and onions. We are not able to accommodate food allergies or preference requests at this time.
If you have a severe allergy we do not recommend our meal plan for you as we cannot guarantee food from cross-contamination, even if a certain dish does not include your allergen. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions about what we can accommodate.

What do I do with my delivery?
Place your food in the fridge immediately upon receiving your delivery. Keep an eye out for our Eating Order email that we send out every week to customers! There, you will find the recommended order to eat that week's menu for maximum freshness (generally wraps are best to consume early in the week) as well as reheating suggestions.
How long will the food last?
If refrigerated and stored properly, our meals are best consumed within five days.
What are your containers made of?
To comply with the 2024 BC regulations banning compostable plastic, we will be phasing out our current compostable plastic containers for recyclable plastic. Unfortunately, other compostable alternatives like fibre are not an option as they do not keep our food fresh.
The new PET plastic containers are recyclable in most municipalities and once they are rinsed clean, they can go in your blue bin. This will be of no significant change to your food, except that you will now be able to microwave your meals directly in the same container it comes in!
As we are in a transition phase of using up our old stock, please note that any containers with the GoodNatured logo on the bottom are the compostable and should not be microwaved.

HOW IS BILLING DONE FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS?
Planted Meals uses a secure recurring week-to-week service. You will be billed automatically until you place a hold or cancel service. Holds or cancellations can be made by emailing [email protected]
What if I need to pause my plan?
If you plan to be away we are happy to pause your plan. We just need to be notified by Tuesday at 9:00pm PST the week before you would like to pause your service. Let us know through email when to resume your meal delivery.
What if I need to cancel my plan?
We’re sorry to see you go, but please let us know if there is anything we can do before you cancel. We are able to accommodate; however, we need to be notified by Tuesday at 9:00pm PST the week before you would like to cancel your service.

WHY DOES HOME DELIVERY COST MORE THAN OFFICE DELIVERY? WHAT IF I WORK FROM HOME?
Our delivery costs are based on the time it takes our drivers, and unfortunately home deliveries take more time than office deliveries. There are typically more deliveries per office building than to residential and do not require individual buzz-ins. To qualify for office delivery, it must be to a commercial building, not residential.
